This Month's Author Our Readers Photo Gallery Recordings Archives Get Involved!    M A R C H   2 0 0 9   March was the month dedicated to the highly popular British author Terry Pratchett. As several regulars at O'Casey's are huge fans of his books, March was a very busy month! We had some very entertaining readings as our own Danton Thirroul went into overdrive (there's just too many Discworld books to choose from!). Dublin owner Ham Rambler made his debut performance at O'Casey's this month, reading from the musically-themed Soul Music. The Pratchett goodness was put on hold as St. Patrick's week hit Dublin in SL in force, and we responded with an entire week of Irish readings, from the classic poetry of Oscar Wilde and William Butler Yeats to short stories from the Irish Civil War and recent conflicts. After St. Patrick's week we returned to some amazing Pratchett readings, including Dublin DJ Kennef Riggles' performance of Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's Good Omens.
