O’Casey's was proud to return with a short season dedicated to one of the best contemporary authors around today - the brilliant and dark Neil Gaiman. In May, we had a series of readings of Gaiman’s brilliant short stories plus extracts from some of his novels as well.
Danton brought us a fantastic range of short stories, ranging from the ingeniously devilish to the absolutely hilarious. Together with Kennef Riggles, he introduced us to the urban fantasy of Neverwhere. Riko Kamachi brought us a reading from one of Gaiman's newer children's books, the eerie Graveyard Book. May also saw the return of Elwe Eldrich, our classic storyteller, who treated us to a generous selection of traditional fairy tales.
